For Hublot, this LVMH Watch Week marks a return of bespoke classics with a modern upgrade and select new novelties worth noting.

At the end of another very successful LVMH Watch Week, we had the opportunity to sit down, virtually, with Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot. We talked with him about the latest watches from his brand, how the pandemic is affecting the watch industry, and the passing of his good friend and football idol, Diego Maradona.

When you say Zenith, you say El Primero. While the brand is about so much more, this legendary automatic chronograph movement continues to shape Zenith. This is not at all a bad thing, as the brand is not stuck on replaying its greatest hits but rather lets the past inspire its future. This also becomes clear when looking at the new watches that Zenith introduced at the 2021 edition of LVMH's Watch Week;

As a fully integrated manufacture, Bulgari is not only capable of making record-breaking ultra-slim watches but also other impressive complications. With the new Octo Roma Carillon Tourbillon, they show once more that they are also a brand that can harmonically combine great aesthetics with a technically very advanced movement. They do this by applying focus because everything about this watch is dedicated to creating the best and loudest sound.

Pandemic or not, Hublot never sits still and never stops. This becomes all the more clear at the beginning of the LVMH Watch Week 2021, where Hublot debuts a wide range of new watches. One thing that most of them have in common is that they are bringing new colors to the collection, of which some were previously deemed technically impossible.

For Zenith, the LVMH Watch Week is all about reestablishing themselves firmly into the market for ladies' watches with the Defy Midnight. However, that is not all the news that they presented to us in Dubai, as many others, and equally exciting watches where shown.

Bulgari uses its presence at the LVMH Watch Week, which is held at the Bulgari resort in Dubai, to expand the highly successful Octo Finissimo collection further. Some interesting new varieties will now be available, making this watch more appealing than ever. While titanium is what people often think of with this ultra-slim watch, is it also stunning in traditional stainless steel. Bulgari already introduced this option in 2018, but now makes it available with an attractive black dial. This gives the watch a more traditional sports-watch look, which suits the Octo Finissimo perfectly. The stainless steel features a nice alternation between polished and satin-finished surfaces, which cleverly highlight the unique design of this watch.
