TAG Heuer Goes All In On Formula 1 During LVMH Watch Week
As LVMH Watch Week 2025 is in full swing in New York, TAG Heuer’s brand positioning is clear: this year is all about Formula 1. On the heels of the exciting announcement in January that TAG Heuer would return to F1 as the Official Timekeeper, the brand is going all-in on its legacy at F1. TAG Heuer has expressed its determination to continue making real connections with the race as well as playing on the mental strength the race requires — ultimately echoing TAG Heuer’s “Don’t Crack Under Pressure” ethos. Ahead, discover the TAG Heuer novelties, which are broken out into four key chapters.
The TAG Heuer Formula 1

In a celebration of speed, precision, and heritage, TAG Heuer introduced five new additions (four chronographs, to be exact) to its renowned Formula 1 collection, including a special edition with Oracle Red Bull Racing. These timepieces encapsulate the essence of Formula 1 racing, blending cutting-edge materials with ergonomic design and vibrant colors inspired by the racetrack.
Each of the four new chronographs in the core collection features a 44mm titanium case, available in both sandblasted and black DLC finishes, highlighting dynamic colors like red, blue, and lime green. The watches boast a black opaline dial with lacquered tracks that mimic the energy of night racing, where vivid colors contrast against dark backdrops. The aluminum tachymeter bezel, with its micro-perforations, pays homage to F1 brake discs, while the skeletonized hands and shaped pushers add a technical yet playful sophistication.
The highlight is the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing, crafted with a grade-2 titanium case and a forged carbon bezel. Its blue opaline dial with a checkered flag pattern captures the spirit of F1, complete with Oracle Red Bull Racing’s iconic colors. This special edition celebrates the thrill of racing and the successful partnership between TAG Heuer and Oracle Red Bull Racing, which has produced eight exclusive timepieces since 2016.
Ergonomically designed for comfort, these watches feature improved lug-to-lug distances and come with rubber straps that reflect the vibrant colors of their dials, ensuring they are as functional as they are stylish. Each model is powered by the Caliber 16, offering hours, minutes, seconds, date, and chronograph functions, with water resistance up to 200 meters.
The collection not only pushes the boundaries of watch design but also keeps the adrenaline of F1 racing alive on the wrist. Available from March to June 2025, these timepieces are set to captivate both watch enthusiasts and racing fans alike, embodying the ethos of “Don’t Crack Under Pressure” with every tick.
The Carrera Date
TAG Heuer also unveiled a fresh, feminine take on the iconic Carrera Date with two new 36mm models in soft pastel shades—powdery pink and lilac. These watches meld the racing legacy of the Carrera, introduced in 1963 by Jack Heuer, with modern elegance, maintaining the original’s size and spirit while introducing a softer aesthetic.
The pink model features a sunray-brush dial, and the lilac one sports a snail-brush finish, each with a gradient track nodding to the Carrera’s racing heritage. Both watches are adorned with 11 diamonds on the dial, adding a touch of luxury without overwhelming the delicate palette. Designed for comfort, these watches retain a sleek profile at 10.26mm thick and come with the iconic polished steel H-shaped bracelet. They are powered by the Caliber 7 automatic movement, boasting a 56-hour power reserve and a date display at 6 o’clock.
TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye
TAG Heuer and Porsche have unveiled the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye, a limited-edition watch celebrating their shared motorsport history, particularly the Porsche 911’s impressive debut at the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. This timepiece comes in two variants: steel, limited to 911 pieces, and 18K 3N yellow gold, limited to 11 pieces.
The watch design draws inspiration from the Heuer dashboard timers used by Porsche’s Herbert Linge and Peter Falk in the rally. The steel model features a black shimmery dial with red accents mimicking speed lines, while the gold version offers a luxurious take with gold-plated details. Both are driven by the TH20-08 movement, which uniquely accelerates the chronograph hand for the first 15 seconds of every minute, a nod to the original 911’s acceleration.
The watches maintain the iconic Carrera “glassbox” design for clarity through both front and back sapphire crystals, showcasing the Porsche steering wheel-inspired rotor. Accompanying the watch are straps that echo the 911’s interior, with the steel version offering an additional leather strap.
Carrera Chronograph
As an evolution to the iconic Carrera collection, TAG Heuer launched two new chronographs featuring a precious twist on the “glass box” design. Available in signature blue and a new powdery pink, these 39mm watches blend elegance with TAG Heuer’s renowned precision.
The dials, with a circular-brushed finish, are adorned with a diamond-set flange (72 diamonds, 0.45 carats) and 11 chaton diamond indexes totaling 0.107 carats, enhancing the watches’ sophistication. The blue model comes with a pearlescent alligator leather strap, while the pink variant features a matching calfskin strap, both designed for versatility with an interchangeable system. Powered by the in-house TH20-00 movement, these timepieces offer an 80-hour power reserve and showcase their mechanical beauty through an open caseback.
Carrera Chronograph & Chronograph Tourbillon
Last but not least, TAG Heuer unveiled two new models in the Carrera line, showcasing a smoky black-to-purple gradient dial in the Carrera Chronograph and Tourbillon. Following the popular purple Monaco, these 39mm and 42mm watches respectively maintain the iconic “Glassbox” design with a sunray-brushed dial that shifts from deep black to vibrant purple, enhancing legibility with silver accents on a black azuré background.
The Chronograph, powered by the in-house TH20-00 movement, offers an 80-hour power reserve and comes with a perforated black leather strap with purple lining. The limited-edition Tourbillon, with only 200 pieces available, features the TH20-09 movement, providing a 65-hour reserve and a rhodium-plated tourbillon at 6 o’clock.
