To mark this momentous beginning, Zenith is launching the Defy Revival A3642, a watch with a distinct vintage flair and a generous dose of character.

Zenith Goes Two-Tone With Manga Inspired Chronomaster Revival

It is rare that a watch brand partners with a Japanese Manga and anime series, but when it happens, it can result in a timepiece unlike any other. Lupin The Third is an institution in the world of Manga, with the very first edition being published in 1967. Shortly after the launch of the original El Primero in 1969, it appeared on the wrist of Daisuke Jigen, the partner in crime of the main character Arsène Lupin III. It featured a black, grey, and gilt dial Zenith had never produced, but a bond was formed between the watch brand and the Magna series. This was strengthened even more in the final episode of the first series, with Jigen wearing a "panda" dial version of the watch.

Haute Complication: A. Lange & Söhne Triple Split

While it has a very straightforward name, the Triple Split from A. Lange & Söhne is an extraordinarily complex watch of which there is no other. When you ask a watchmaker what is among the most challenging movements to create, you would expect to hear a tourbillon or minute repeater. While those are indeed very complex, a split-seconds chronograph also ranks in this category. Two second hands on the chronograph allow comparative times to be measured simultaneously. But what if you do the same with the minutes and hours? A. Lange & Söhne successfully completed this incredible challenge in 2018, when they launched the Triple Split, which remains the only one of its kind.

Hublot Launches Smokin’ Hot Big Bang Unico Arturo Fuente Ceramic Limited Edition

In many industries, having passion makes a difference. What is even better is shared passion, such as Hublot and Arturo Fuente cigars have been enjoying since the start of their collaboration in 2012. As Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe puts it; "Arturo Fuente cigars are consistently rated among the best cigars in the world. It was therefore natural that – brought together by our common desire to push the boundaries of excellence, each in our own field – our two companies joined forces and have been partners since 2012. It is in this same spirit that we are taking this opportunity to pay tribute to the patriarch Don Carlos Sr."

Girard-Perregaux Surprises With La Esmeralda Tourbillon “A Secret” Eternity Edition

La Esmeralda is an important name in the history of Girard-Perregaux, as it was given to a pocket watch they made for the "World's Fair" of 1889 in Paris. This exquisite timepiece, finely engraved and fitted with a tourbillon and three gold bridges, won the gold medal. Although currently again in the museum collection of Girard-Perregaux, it was initially sold to Porfirio Diaz (1830-1915), then the President of Mexico. As the manufacture is celebrating its 230th anniversary, it felt appropriate to bring back the spirit of this unique pocket watch in a modern-day creation.

Zenith Defies Gravity In Transparency With Two New Models

It is an interesting question to ask; when does Zenith reach its zenith? So far, it hasn't happened yet, and it is doubtful that it will happen in the near future. Today the brand launches two watches that give a new spin on already existing creations. What they have in common are mouthwatering movements encased in transparency and spiced up with a generous dash of blue.

Greubel Forsey Continues To Show Its Sportive Side With The Balancier S2

2022 is already starting on a high note, as Greubel Forsey is releasing the first piece of their new collection for next year. While watches from this brand are always exceptional, the Balancier S2 is even a bit more. It is continuing the legacy of complex sports watches that the brand established with its predecessors, the GMT Sport and the Balancier S. What the brand did with this watch was to distill the best parts of the original Balancier and make them even purer.

Haute Complication: Ulysse Nardin Marine Mega Yacht

Making a complicated watch is one thing, but giving it a unique, novel appearance is something entirely different. It means that you master the mechanical challenges needed to create such a watch and control them to such an extent that you can determine the look and position of the complications on the dial. Ulysse Nardin is a brand that loves to play with these possibilities, and for them, it has become part of their DNA. An excellent example of this is the Marine Mega Yacht, an ocean-going watch that uniquely displays its rich heritage.

Hublot’s Stunning Hommage To The City By The Bay
