Haute Time was excited to see our good friends at Bell & Ross at BaselWorld 2013, where we got an inside look at what the brand has going from CEO Carlos A. Rosillo. Before we got down to business to talk watches, Carlos showed me the famed plane that is in the Bell & Ross headquarters in Paris, which the manufacture actually brought with them to their booth at BaselWorld this year. The plane was brought in to represent the manufacture’s theme, which this year was aviation, as Bell & Ross added three new pieces to their BR01 Aviation collection. Carlos showed me the new limited-edition Minute Repeater pocket watch, and gave me a sneak peek at the new WW2 tourbillon which will launch at the end of the year. I loved a lot of the pieces, and was particularly impressed with the Pocket Repeater – it is a gorgeous piece in a pocket watch model, with a price tag of under $40,000. It looks like Bell & Ross have a strong year ahead for the brand, from their expanded aviation-inspired collection to upgraded looks and sophisticated pieces.
