The Pelagos FXD “Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition” timepieces mark Tudor’s foray into competitive yacht racing through a long-term partnership established in 2022. Inspired by the fusion of daring human spirit and advanced technology in yacht racing, these watches feature a unique combination of high-tech carbon composite, titanium, and stainless steel. The carbon composite, a first for Tudor, adds a touch of innovation, resembling the materials used in AC75 hydrofoil racing yachts. Another remarkable aspect is the integration of a chronograph caliber into a fixed strap-bars case, a novelty for Tudor.

The key features of these watches include black matte-finished carbon composite cases with fixed strap bars and the Alinghi Red Bull Racing logo engraved on the stainless steel case back. The titanium bi-directional rotatable bezel incorporates a black matte-finished carbon composite insert and retrograde 60-minute graduation with Swiss Super-LumiNova® luminescent material. The blue matte dials display luminescent ceramic composite monobloc hour markers and Tudor’s iconic “Snowflake” hands.

The watches are powered by the Manufacture Calibre MT5602 (Pelagos FXD) and MT5813 (Pelagos FXD Chrono), both certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). The MT5602 boasts hour, minute, and seconds functions, with a 70-hour power reserve, while the MT5813 offers additional chronograph and date functions. The movements showcase the meticulous craftsmanship of Tudor’s Manufacture, featuring tungsten monobloc rotors, openwork bridges, and sand-blasted and polished surfaces.

Complementing the timepieces is a one-piece fabric strap in blue with red accents, incorporating a self-gripping fastening system for optimal comfort and style. To parallel the launch of the Pelagos FXD models, Tudor highlights the Alinghi Red Bull Racing AC75, a groundbreaking yacht featuring carbon fiber, titanium, and stainless steel construction. This remarkable vessel attests to Tudor’s dedication to technical excellence and its commitment to creating exceptional timepieces that mirror the cutting-edge advancements in yacht engineering.

These timepieces capture the spirit of adventure and celebrate the enduring partnership between Tudor and Alinghi Red Bull Racing.
