For years, the Portofino collection has remained as staple in IWC’s women’s watches portfolio. It has exuded a refined design with classic and timeless lines, and the new collection is no different. In fact, the new iteration of the iconic collection offers new technical enhancements and upgrades to the watch family.

The Portofino Chronograph 39, worn above by Bündchen, combines the classic and elegant Portofino design with a sporty chronograph complication in an easy-to-wear case. The chronograph features a stainless steel case, a silver-plated dial, and rhodium- plated hands and appliqués. The IWC-manufactured 69355 caliber movement powers the watch. Additionally, the chronograph is fitted with a beige strap made of fully traceable Swiss calf leather. The versatility and elegance of the watch matches its wearer here perfectly.

Gisele Bündchen embodies elegance and sustainability like no other. Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environmental Program since 2009, she has also been honored by renowned academic institutions such as Harvard University for her longstanding commitment to key environmental issues.

The entire Portofino Automatic 37 collection is now equipped with IWC-manufactured movements from the 32000 caliber family, featuring an automatic pawl winding system and a power reserve of five days. For the models featuring diamond-set bezels, such as the one depicted above, the shape of the case has been optimized to accommodate larger stones of 1.7 millimeters. The dial and the case of these references are decorated with 72 diamonds, totaling 1.12 carats. Additionally, because of an improved setting, the diamonds reflect the light better and have a more visible presence and added brilliance.

Joining this range of elegant ladies’ watches is the Portofino Automatic Day and Night 34, the first 34-millimeter Portofino to feature a charming day and night complication. With its reduced case diameter of 34 millimeters, the Portofino Automatic 34 is the perfect choice for more slender wrists and offers excellent wearing comfort. Following the initial launch of this model in 2019, IWC is now extending the collection and upgrading this successful ladies’ watch in numerous details.
