As you may remember from our Baselworld coverage, Glashütte Original unveiled some outstanding novelties this year. The German manufacture also showcased their mastery of the art of engraving, presenting a very fine skeletonized edition of the Glashütte Original Senator Manual Winding.

The Senator Manual Winding Skeletonized Edition features a classic design and simple functionality; just two hands hover above the open-worked dial, enhanced by a black railroad minute ring and finely drawn Roman numerals. The face partially reveals the escapement, the gear train’s elements, and the winding barrel with sunburst decoration at 6 o’clock.

The sapphire crystal caseback offers the wearer an exceptional view of the movement’s meticulously finished components, including the winding wheels with helical ornament, the screw-mounted gold chatons with blued screws, and the bridge mechanism, which is decorated with complex floral pattern engraving.
