Audemars Piguet and Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons Launch the Millenary collection
A glamorous crowd gathered in Dubai last week for the presentation of Audemars Piguet’s 2015 Millenary collection. In partnership with the Middle East’s largest Swiss watch retailer Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the event marked the first time that the watch brand presented its new women’s collection in the Middle East.
Three years in the making, the new Millenary collection is expertly crafted, beautiful to wear and complements the style of the Audemars Piguet woman. Inspired by modern culture, the intricate design of this timepiece reflects the balance achieved when old-world meets contemporary artisanship. The piece features a new hand-wound Manufacture calibre 5201 that has been conceived to perfectly fit the intriguing 18-carat pink gold and white gold oval case shape with a jeweled crown and a diamond setting, that ergonomically follows the curves of the wrist with a choice of shimmering brown, pearly dark grey or beige alligator strap. Inside is a white mother-of-pearl disc printed with roman numerals with an open-design movement revealing the balance wheel, also known as the beating heart of the watch. The new Millenary has been well and truly created from the inside out.

The launch of the new Audemars Piguet Millenary collection in 2015 celebrates the 20th year of this unique oval women’s watch design.
