The Chinese Embroidery piece gains its inspiration from the luxurious silk thread embroideries crafted with the utmost detail and skill. Vacheron Constantin Artisans use a variety of techniques to create this truly artistic design The Chinese Embroidery pieces as well as each of the timepieces in the collection.

The dial of The Chinese Embroidery timepiece is adorned with precious stones that have been cut and sculpted along with the Glyptic art techniques which form the gold leaves and pistils of the design. Rubies are engraved and carefully detailed to give depth to the flowers and petals creating a beautiful and lifelike floral medley on the dial. The background of the dial features pink opals which were each individually cut by the Artisan and seperated by very thin gold partitions to shape a delicate backdrop for the dial.vach dial

The off-set, open-worked portion of the dial is also surrounded by a ring of diamonds like the bezel, and shows the hours and minutes and of course the stunning decoration and finishing details on the movement. The movement is an ultra-slim Calibre 1003 in 18k gold, hand finished by Vacheron Constantin.

Each of The The Métiers d’Art Fabuleux Ornements timepieces are stamped with The Hallmark of Geneva which affirms the durability and expertise of the timepiece, along with affirming Vacheron Constantin’s dedication to craftmanship and watchmaking.
