Today's Haute Time Watch of the Day is The L.U.C. XP Urushi "Year of the Horse" Special Edition Timepiece by Chopard.
This new, special edition timepiece is created by Chopard in celebration of the 2014 Chinese Year of the Horse. This special timepiece is part of the Urushi collection and features a 39.5mm 18kt rose gold case. This L.U.C. XP is powered by the L.U.C. Calibre 96.17L ultra thin movement.
The dial is a grand representation of the traditional art of Japanese lacquer painting, and features the horse design using a variety of skill along with different materials, all done by hand to create this expression of art.
The Urushi special edition Chopard L.U.C. XP is fitted with a black alligator strap and 18kt rose gold buckle and comes packaged in a Urushi decorated box also consistent with The Year of the Horse motif.
