OMEGA Unveils the Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond & Spectre Collection: Timeless Adversaries, Side by Side

OMEGA’s new Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond and Spectre collection pairs two stainless-steel editions with two 77-piece limited sets.

Walk into the OMEGA boutique in Glendale, California, this fall and the room divides itself in two. Along one side runs a wall of archive shelving devoted to James Bond; facing it is another devoted to Spectre. Both lead to the same place, a room where OMEGA’s new Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond and Spectre collection is shown side by side.

The Haute Minute

OMEGA’s Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond and Spectre collection, launched October 5, 2026, comprises six 42mm watches driven by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806: two stainless-steel editions and two sets limited to 77 each. The Timeless Adversaries exhibition runs at OMEGA Glendale through November 8.

The arrangement is deliberate. OMEGA has been the watch of James Bond for more than 30 years, since 007 wore a blue-dial Seamaster in GoldenEye in 1995. With its new collection, launched October 5, 2026, Spectre enters the picture for the first time, and the Timeless Adversaries James Bond and Spectre Exhibition, open at the Glendale boutique through November 8, is the first OMEGA exhibition to bring the two names together.

The brand frames the whole project as a study in duality. Bond, in OMEGA’s reading, is defined by duty, discipline, and loyalty; Spectre by independence, self-interest, and the freedom to operate without the same constraints. The two are different by nature but, the brand argues, not necessarily mutually exclusive, which leaves collectors with one final question: which side will you choose?

Introducing the James Bond and Spectre Collection

The collection comprises six Seamaster Diver 300M watches, three bearing the symbol of James Bond and three the symbol of Spectre. All six share a 42mm case and the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, and each carries its emblem on the rotor: a gun-barrel decoration on the James Bond models and the Spectre logo on the Spectre models. As the Diver 300M name signals, each is water-resistant to 300 meters.

Two stainless-steel editions are sold individually. The James Bond edition, Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004, pairs a grade 5 titanium bezel ring with a blue aluminum dial laser-engraved with a wave pattern. The Spectre edition, Ref. 210.30.42.20.01.023, answers with a black ceramic bezel ring and a dial in a blackened grained finish. Both are presented on a brushed mesh bracelet.

“We are extremely proud of this collection,” says Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA. “OMEGA has been the watch of James Bond for more than thirty years, and this is the first time we have brought James Bond and Spectre together in a collection. Both belong to the same story, and our customers have always known both sides of it. Now they can wear both.”

It is a neat piece of casting: for once, the adversary gets equal billing.

Above the steel pair sit two limited-edition sets, one for James Bond and one for Spectre, each issued in 77 numbered sets. Every set combines a stainless-steel model on a brushed mesh bracelet with a platinum-gold model on a leather strap, and neither watch is sold separately. The steel model carries its individual limited-edition number on a plate at 9 o’clock, and on all four set watches the polished-brushed caseback follows OMEGA’s wave-edged design and is secured by the Naiad Lock.

The platinum-gold models are where the collection dresses for dinner. Each has a polished ceramic bezel ring, blue on the James Bond model and black on the Spectre, with the diving scale executed in platinum, and an 18k white gold dial with a PVD gradient: blue with a gun-barrel pattern for James Bond, Ref. 210.83.42.20.03.001, and dark grey with an octopus for Spectre, Ref. 210.83.42.20.01.001. On both, the emblem on the rotor is executed in 18k Moonshine Gold.

Each set is delivered in a single presentation box with an additional NATO strap and strap-changing tool, cufflinks, a cord bracelet, a loupe, a leather travel pouch and card holder, and a certificate of authenticity. Even here, the details pick a side. In the James Bond set, the strap keepers are engraved with 007 and the travel pouch is blue; in the Spectre set, the keepers carry the Spectre emblem, the cufflinks and cord bracelet come in matching Spectre execution, and the pouch is black.

Inside the Glendale Exhibition

In Glendale, that duality becomes architecture. Inspired by archival systems, each side is built as a run of shelving displaying props as they appeared on screen, and together the two facing archives hold more than 20 original props from seven James Bond films, from GoldenEye in 1995 to No Time to Die in 2021, many of them rarely seen in public.

The objects are small, specific, and loaded with story. Among them are the passports Bond carried in Skyfall and Spectre, his identification pass, the cufflinks bearing his initials, the note reading “RUN” left for him in Quantum of Solace, and the key fob of the DB5 from No Time to Die. Visitors can also see the ring worn by Spectre members in Spectre, bearing the octopus insignia, and several versions of the bionic eye built for No Time to Die.

The archives lead into a room of watches, where the stainless-steel James Bond and Spectre editions are shown together alongside six timepieces that have left the archives of the OMEGA Museum in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. Together, the museum pieces follow James Bond’s Seamaster from 2002 to 2015.

Two are models Bond wore on screen. The Seamaster Diver 300M of 2006, Ref. 2222.80.00, is the watch from Casino Royale, a subtle update of the blue-dial model he first wore in GoldenEye. The Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M of 2012, Ref. 232.30.42.21.01.001, is the Skyfall watch, with a black ceramic diving bezel, the Seamaster name picked out in orange, and the Co-Axial Calibre 8500 visible through its sapphire caseback.

The other four are limited editions, each produced in a number ending in 007. The Seamaster 300M Limited Series of 2002, Ref. 2537.80.00, marked 40 years of James Bond in the year of Die Another Day, with a 007 gun logo on its blue dial and a caseback engraved with the anniversary and the number 20, for the 20th film, in 10,007 pieces. The Seamaster Diver 300M Limited Series of 2006, Ref. 2226.80.00, celebrated Casino Royale with the 007 gun logo on its caseback and as the counterweight of its seconds hand, again in 10,007 pieces.

The Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Limited Edition of 2012, Ref. 232.30.42.21.01.004, celebrated Skyfall in 5,007 pieces, with the 007 gun logo in place of the seven on the dial and “Skyfall 007” on its rotor. The Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Limited Edition of 2015, Ref. 231.10.42.21.03.004, was released ahead of Spectre in 15,007 pieces, around a Master Co-Axial movement that resists magnetic fields of 15,007 gauss. The 007 habit, it turns out, extends even to the magnetic resistance.

Before leaving, visitors can settle the question for themselves. An AI photo booth offers two moods, James Bond and Spectre, and each visitor chooses one for a single portrait.

“James Bond first wore an OMEGA in 1995, and for three decades we told the story from James Bond’s side,” Aeschlimann explains. “This time we wanted Spectre to have the same space. In Glendale, their two worlds are built as archives facing one another and both lead to one room where the watches are shown together. Everyone has a James Bond and Spectre side, and I hope our visitors have as much fun finding theirs as we had building.”

Our pick is the stainless-steel Spectre edition. The James Bond edition plays the hero’s blue, but the Spectre watch is the genuinely new idea, with its black ceramic bezel ring, blackened grained dial, and Spectre logo on the rotor, all on the same mesh bracelet and Calibre 8806 as its counterpart. It is the clearest expression of the collection’s premise, and, unlike the platinum-gold models, it can be bought on its own.

The stainless-steel James Bond and Spectre editions are priced at $8,600 each, and each limited-edition set is $89,800. The collection has been available since October 5 at OMEGA boutiques and online.

The Timeless Adversaries James Bond and Spectre Exhibition is open to the public from October 5 through November 8 at the OMEGA Glendale Boutique, 716 Americana Way, Space E-104, Glendale, CA 91210. It runs during boutique hours, Monday through Saturday from 11 AM to 8 PM and Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM, with no appointment required, and the boutique can be reached at +1 818 358 6126.

For five weeks in Glendale, Bond and Spectre share a room, and the only mystery left unsolved is which side each visitor will take home.
