Two industry leaders, Zenith and Watches of Switzerland Group, have joined forces to drop an exclusive new timepiece: the Zenith x Watches of Switzerland Group Chronomaster Original Limited Edition. Limited to just 100 numbered pieces, the new watch embodies the El Primero collection’s dedication to unparalleled craftsmanship, precision, and innovation — values that both Zenith and the Watches of Switzerland Group hold in high regard.

For David Hurley, the Watches of Switzerland Group Deputy Chief Executive who continues to evolve the brand, the partnership with Zenith was a no-brainer. “Zenith continues to be a brand our US clients gravitate towards for its superior craftsmanship and sharp designs, and we are thrilled to take this next step in our partnership,” he explains. “This exclusive limited edition Chronomaster embodies the heritage and excellence both of our brands are dedicated to.”
At first glance, the new timepiece is a stunner. The Zenith Chronomaster Original made its debut in 2021, garnering inspiration from the original 1969 Zenith A386 to create a modern masterpiece that adheres to the innovative spirit of the El Primero. For this collaborative special edition, the timepiece follows the familiar 38mm brushed stainless steel case while introducing a new look to the dial’s color palette. The signature overlapping chronograph subdials are now in graduated shades of grey against a matte white dial. These are surrounded by a striking contrast blue 1/10th of a second scale that runs around the dial’s outside edge.

Inside the watch is a high-performance version of Zenith’s iconic El Primero 3600 chronograph caliber, which delivers a 1/10th of a second chronograph, a date window between 4 and 5 o’clock, and a 60-hour power reserve. The groundbreaking movement can be seen through the sapphire caseback.
