The Saint-Imier based watchmaker, Longines, is celebrating its 180th anniversary by producing a series of commemorative watches worthy of the brand’s expertise and prestige. There is a line for both men and women. Blending elegance and sport, the men’s Column-Wheel Single Push-Piece Chronograph is a Limited Edition piece nodding to the company’s heritage and pride in timing and sports. For women, there are three models to choose from.

Many of the models being produced on a Limited-Edition scale bring the beauty, elegance, and sophistication of diamonds to the pieces. All watches that are being released include 180 pieces. In the case of a lady’s watch, there are 180 diamonds. In the case of men’s watches, there are 180 numbered pieces that build the watches. All of the Limited Series editions are made from gold and other precious materials.

For the serious collector, Longines is releasing 180 pocket watches formed of yellow gold. These watches are tribute to the first pocket watches created by Auguste Agassiz. The guilloche back cover can be opened to reveal a gold backing. The front of the watch is lacquered in white with black roman numerals and blued steel hands.
