The inspiration for the watch comes from Hanamomo no Sato, or Peach Blossom Village, where thousands of peach trees bloom in vibrant shades of pink, white, and red every spring. Located in southern Nagano Prefecture, the region is also home to the Shinshu Watch Studio, where Grand Seiko’s Spring Drive movements are meticulously assembled by skilled craftsmen. The peaceful scenery surrounding the studio has long served as a source of inspiration for many of the brand’s most distinctive dial designs, and the SBGA529 continues that tradition.
