The Hour Glass in Singapore will be displaying the latest addition to their collection of fine pieces at the Marina Bay Sands location. A $5 million diamond encrusted watch was recently purchased from Hublot and can be seen while on tour throughout Asia at one of the 25 boutiques in nine cities owned by The Hour Glass.

Believed to be one of the most expensive pieces at this years Basel World, it has simply been named “The $5 Million Watch”. Encrusted with 1,282 diamonds, the piece took more than 14 months to create, 7 months alone for the diamond cutters and another 7 months for the setters. Describing the piece as a “gallery of diamonds”, the company has noted this to be the most precious watch ever created by Hublot and their long standing partner Atelier Bunter.
