Haute Time Live From SIHH 2014: Recapping Day 3

Haute Time is live from Geneva, Switzerland, where the watch world has gathered for the 2014 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie. It’s day three of SIHH and the introductions just keep getting more and more exciting.

Here are our exclusive photos of five unveilings that really express the fine art of high watchmaking, which, after all, is what this show is all about!

Vacheron Constantin Metiers d’Art Fabuleux Ornements
Vacheron Constantin introduced four skeletonized decorative pieces in the Fabuleux Ornnements collection: Ottoman Architecture, Chinese Embroidery, Indian Manuscript and French Lace.

Greubel Forsey 24 Second Contemporain Sertie
This is the brand’s first gem-set watch, with 272 flawless baguette diamonds set on the dial, case and in the movement.

Montblanc “Homage to Nicolas Rieussec” Chronograph
This piece features an historic “nib” indicator on the moveable chronograph wheels. The ceramic dial is imprinted with Super-LumiNova that can only be seen in the dark.

Van Cleef & Arpels Monsieur Arpels Heure Ici & Heure Ailleurs
This piece is true to its name, which is French for the time here and the time somewhere else. It features a double jumping hour and retrograde minute dual time zone watch. Movement created in collaboration with Jean Marc Weiderrecht.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Chronograph Ceramic
This piece features a GMT second time zone with day/night indicator, and a patented compression key that guarantees optimal water resistance.
