The Haute Minute

Stateside fans of Formula 1 racing have waited five long years for the return of the United States Grand Prix.

Stateside fans of Formula 1 racing have waited five long years for the return of the United States Grand Prix. This year the race returns to Austin, Texas, and Hublot, the Official Watch of Formula 1, is celebrating in style.

When the F1 world competition stops in at the brand new Circuit of the Americas track in Austin, luxury watch lovers can proudly sport the aptly named F1 King Power Austin. This limited edition watch (only 250 numbered pieces will be produced) was inspired by the high-tech materials developed by the highly competitive F1 teams. The case stands out immediately for its use of lightweight, corrosion-resistant biocompatible titanium. The bezel features carbon and titanium, with a satin-finished perforated effect evoking the stop-on-a-dime high-tech brake discs the F1 cars utilize.  Start & reset push-pieces and a 30-minute timer (located at the 3 o’clock indication) complete the nod to the high-speed world of F1 racing. The strap is of black Hornback alligator leather sewn onto black rubber with red stitching.

Preview notes (not visible on the live site). "The Haute Minute" uses the story's own standfirst or opening lines - no copy is invented. This story has no editorial FAQ yet: add a vk_faq custom field with one Question|Answer per line and the FAQ section plus FAQPage schema appear automatically. This story has no H2 subheads, so there is no "On This Page" nav and nothing for an answer engine to quote as a section.
