After reloading the Big Bang and paying homage to Kylian Mbappé and Usain Bolt, Hublot unveiled a new Classic Fusion trio that turns back time.

Right after announcing K-Pop idol Jungkook as its latest brand ambassador, Hublot presented an unforgettable showcase at Watches and Wonders 2026, highlighted by high-precision diamond-setting and a bold new approach to openworking.

Not one to rest on its laurels, the brand followed up this past week with an intriguing trio of timepieces created in collaboration with long-time retail partner The Hour Glass.

Created in partnership with The Hour Glass, the 42mm Classic Fusion Titanium Retroverse is fitted with the anticlockwise HUB1105 movement that ticks backwards.

That’s right—its movement revolves its hands counterclockwise, so the italicized Arabic numerals of its grained gradient dial have been reflected horizontally.

Big Bang Reloaded

A flagship collection of Hublot alongside the Classic Fusion and Spirit of Big Bang, the Big Bang has been reimagined with a new style of openworking that proudly displays the column wheel of its flyback chronograph at the 6 o’clock position. A well-made column wheel chronograph like Hublot’s runs smoothly and doesn’t “stutter” when activated.

Its HUB 1280 Unico movement holds five patents for its backlash compensating oscillating clutch, anti-shaking chronograph hand system, shock-resistant time-setting, “zero friction” ratchet wheel blocker, and watch rate fine-adjustment system.
