The Haute Minute

This week's Haute Time 'Watch of the Week' is the Cartier Tank Louis Cartier Tri-Gold Dial, which was first introduced at Watches & Wonders.

Cartier, the renowned Maison synonymous with timeless luxury, introduced the new Tank Louis Cartier watch with a striking tri-gold dial at this year’s Watches & Wonders. This timepiece pays homage to the iconic Tank collection while pushing the boundaries of design and technical innovation, resulting in a horological masterpiece that embodies Cartier’s unwavering commitment to excellence.

The Tank Louis Cartier Tri-Gold Dial boasts a captivating dial adorned with three contrasting shades of gold. The warm tones of pink gold gracefully merge with the brilliance of yellow gold, culminating in a harmonious and visually captivating composition. The dial’s guilloché pattern adds depth and texture, enhancing the watch’s sophisticated allure.

The 18k pink gold case, with its distinctive Tank silhouette, measures a refined 29.5mm by 22mm, perfectly embodying the elegant proportions that have made the Tank collection an icon of design. The slender profile sits gracefully on the wrist, exuding a timeless elegance that is synonymous with Cartier. Powering this exceptional timepiece is the manual-winding 1917 MC movement, named after Cartier’s founding year, of course.

To complete the watch, the Tank Louis Cartier Tri-Gold Dial is paired with a luxurious brown alligator leather strap, perfectly complementing the dial’s warm hues. While Cartier always reveals a generous amount of novelties in Geneva, this one certainly stood out and makes for an excellent addition to the Tank collection.
