Bvlgari reimagines its Aiguille d'Or–winning Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar in monochromatic blue PVD titanium.
The Octo Finissimo has spent a decade collecting world records — ten of them, at last count. Its newest release is not chasing an eleventh. Bvlgari has reimagined the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar in monochromatic blue titanium, taking one of the most decorated watches in its catalog and giving it a new mood rather than a new number.

That catalog entry is a serious one. When the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar arrived in 2021, it set a world record as the thinnest perpetual calendar and went on to win the Aiguille d’Or, the top prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève and the closest thing watchmaking has to a best-in-show. Bvlgari has revisited it carefully since — in carbon and gold in 2023, in rose gold in 2025 — and now, for 2026, in a striking blue.
The new version, reference 104262, is built around a 40mm case in sandblasted blue PVD-coated titanium that measures just 5.80mm thick. The blue runs through nearly the entire watch — the case, the varnished dial, and the alligator strap — broken only by grey rhodium-plated hands, silvered indexes, and a polished steel crown set with a black ceramic insert. It is the kind of tonal, head-to-toe treatment Bvlgari does better than almost anyone, turning a technical showpiece into something genuinely easy to wear.

Underneath sits the BVL 305, a manufacture automatic movement just 2.75mm thick, the engine that made the original record possible. It drives a full perpetual calendar with a retrograde date, day, month, and leap-year indication, good until 2100 without correction, alongside a 60-hour power reserve. Fitting that much information onto an ultra-thin dial and keeping it legible is the hard part, and Bvlgari has managed it without the layout reading as cluttered.
The blue Perpetual Calendar lands in a busy year for the line. At Watches and Wonders 2026, Bvlgari , the series that already holds the record for the . Against those headline-grabbers, the blue perpetual calendar is the quiet one — and arguably the most wearable of the group.

That is the point of a release like this. The Octo Finissimo has long since proven what it can do on paper; what Bvlgari is building now is range: the sense that a watch this thin and this complicated can also simply be a beautiful blue watch you reach for every day. On that measure, reference 104262 makes its case easily.
