In 2020, Ulysse Nardin introduced the Diver NET concept watch, swiftly transitioning from concept to a market-ready model. This watch embodies the brand’s commitment to sustainability and innovation, developed in collaboration with high-tech start-ups and environmental advocates. The Diver NET stands as a testament to Ulysse Nardin’s dedication to pioneering new materials and technologies that raise awareness about environmental responsibility.

Building on this journey, Ulysse Nardin unveils two new dynamic creations for 2024: the Diver Net OPS and the Diver X Skeleton OPS. These models, characterized by their trendy yet functional style, are the latest additions to the brand’s “Ops” capsule collection, which began with the launch of two Freak Ops watches in 2023.

Diver Net OPS

The Diver Net OPS is heralded as the most sustainable sports watch with a manufacture movement available today. Water-resistant up to 300 meters, this high-performance timepiece is powered by the automatic caliber UN-118, which features a 60-hour power reserve and a silicon balance spring—a cutting-edge material first introduced by Ulysse Nardin in 2001. The escapement is coated in DiamonSil, a patented diamond-coated silicon that ensures exceptional precision and durability.

The case of the Diver Net OPS is crafted from 95% recycled stainless steel, incorporating materials that Ulysse Nardin has been pioneering. The side parts and case-back are composed of Nylo® (60%) and Carbonium® (40%). Nylo is a polyamide made from upcycled fishing nets, while Carbonium®—used in state-of-the-art aircraft manufacturing—offers incredible strength-to-lightness properties and a marbled aesthetic on the bezel.

The dial, sandblasted in khaki green and embossed with a large satin-finished X, features a power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock and a small seconds display at 6 o’clock. Beige Super-Luminova® markings glow green in low light, enhancing its adventurous style. The watch comes with a fabric strap made from upcycled fishing nets or a khaki green rubber strap with a black ceramic “Ulysse Nardin” element at 6 o’clock.

Diver X Skeleton OPS

The Diver X Skeleton OPS is an avant-garde reinterpretation of a dive watch, blending haute horlogerie with cutting-edge materials. Water-resistant up to 200 meters, this 44 mm watch showcases the brand’s skeletonized automatic movement UN-372, featuring an oversized oscillator and a silicon escapement.

Carbonium® features prominently in the Diver X Skeleton OPS, not only in the concave unidirectional rotating bezel but also on the barrel cover at 12 o’clock. The dial’s design is dominated by a huge skeleton X structure, set within a high-tech titanium case with a black DLC coating. The khaki green fabric strap, partly made from upcycled fishing nets, completes the watch’s audacious and sustainable style.

Ulysse Nardin’s Diver Net OPS and Diver X Skeleton OPS come just in time for summer dive journeys ahead.
