All eyes are on Wimbledon this month, and those of trained watch collectors will be able to spot several high-end timepieces on the wrists of the players. While Rafael Nadal and his lucky RM27-01 continue to shine on the courts, others are hoping to steal some of the spotlight during this year’s championship:

Rafael Nadal with his Richard Mille RM 27-01: Everyone on the circuit knows it, Rafael Nadal loves his Richard Mille watches. So much so he wears them during matches, something other tennis ambassadors usually avoid. Over the years, the two have shared many great moments. Just last month, Rafael Nadal could be spotted on the courts of the 2014 French Open wearing a RM 27-01 with a red Velcro® strap. The timepiece caught the attention of many when Nadal lifted his ninth French open. He was also wearing it when he won at the Australian Open and it has become a good luck charm of sorts. The question is, how far will it go at Wimbledon? For more, please visit Richard Mille.

Stanislas Wawrinka with his Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore: Wawrinka also took his watch all the way to a Grand Slam final earlier this year, when he wore his Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver at the Australian Open. That time, Nadal got the better of his Swiss opponent, but Wawrinka will be hoping to get his revenge in SW19. So far, so good, as he reached the third round after a hard-fought match against Yen-Hsun Lu. For more, please visit Audemars Piguet.

Roger Federer with his Rolex Oyster 41mm Datejust II: The Swiss King and Rolex are a perfect match! The tennis player was caught wearing a Rolex Oyster 41mm Datejust II around the historic grounds of Wimbledon earlier this week, and Rolex will be following their ambassador closely as he attempts to win his favorite tournament for an unprecedented eighth time. His campaign began with a straight sets victory (6-1; 6-1; 6-3) over Paolo Lorenzi. For more, please visit Rolex.

berdych

Tomáš Berdych with his entire watch collection: The Czech tennis player, 28, came so close to a Grand Slam final this year after loses in the semi and quarter-finals in Australia and France respectively. But count on him to challenge once more at Wimbledon this year. The sixth seed made a strong start and saw off Australia’s Bernard Tomic (4-6; 7-6; 7-6; 6-1). Berdych is a bit of an anomaly in this list, as he is the only Top 10 player without a watch brand partnership. But he also has one of the greatest collections. Berdych regularly shares pictures of his Ulysse Nardin, Panerai Bronzo, Hublot Big Bang, and is currently waiting for an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore. For more, please visit his Instagram.

monfils

Gael Monfils with his De Bethune DB28 Black Matte model: It’s been a roller-coaster week for the French tennis player, who became the new face of De Bethune earlier this week, and celebrated the three-year partnership with brand CEO Pierre Jacques. Monfils is known for his spectacular style, and for his passion for watches. His collection is said to include approximately 30 watches already, and he wore a customized DB28 Black Matte model this week. Unfortunately, he crashed out early, after losing to Jiri Veselý in Round 2. However, De Bethune’s arrival on the world’s tennis courts is sure to follow with more success. For more, please visit De Bethune.
