Summer’s just around the corner, and here at Haute Time, we put together the five watches we are most excited to wear under the sun.

IWC Chronograph Edition Galapagos Islands

IWC celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Charles Darwin Research Station by introducing several new models in its Aquatimer collection, including the limited edition Galapagos Islands. It features a matte black rubber coating on the stainless-steel case and houses the 89365-calibre movement, making it a stand out watch for expeditions above and below the surface. For more, please visit IWC.

Girard-Perregaux's new Sea Hawk
Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk

Girard-Perregaux updated its very popular Sea Hawk collection with a nautically themed model. This time, it features the new in-house GP03300-0074 self-winding mechanical movement. This watch measures 44mm in diameter, and is one of the thickest watches, at 17.1mm. But what makes this diver stand out is the depth at which it can be taken: a whopping 1,000 meters! For more, please visit Girard-Perregaux.

Hublot Big Bang Unico Bi-Retrograde Chrono

It’s all about the World Cup this summer, and Hublot made sure that those lucky enough to follow the games have a watch to match. Hublot’s Big Bang Unico Bi-Retrograde Chrono is the competition’s Official Timekeeper, and features a 60-second counter, as well as a 45-minute counter to time each half of the game. For more, please visit Hublot.

Ulysse Nardin Dual Time Manufacture

It looks like a watch for the boardroom but the only thing that will remind you of the office on this timepiece is the dual time function that shows what time it is back home. Meanwhile, you’ll be sipping on a martini by the pool. For more, please visit Ulysse Nardin.
