When it comes to men's watches, most brands expanded their lineup during the 2019 edition of Baselworld with some solid additions. Some of them favoured evolution over revolution, further perfecting what are already great watches, while others developed breathtaking technical novelties. One of the great difficulties of any fair, and especially Baselworld, is to pick from this wide array of often very different watches the favorites that truly stand out.

Hublot is always the one to innovate and to push the envelope! They for sure have done exactly that once again this year. Again, it is not just the introduction of one new model, but a significant extension of nearly all the signature lines in their collection. In most cases we are talking here about completely new creations, which are bound, once again, to capture the attention of the watch connoisseurs!

Change seems to come quicker each year. That’s certainly true in the automotive world, where a new model used to stay “current” for several years and then maybe have a facelift or nip-and-tuck to stay au courant. To pick favourites from such an extensive array of masterpieces is a daunting task by itself, but when we utilize the freedom that the term 'favourite' provides us with, the following are our high rankers!

While the SIHH takes place in the Palexpo halls of Geneva, this is not the only place in the city where you can find the latest and greatest watches. In the downtown area, brands that are not officially part of the SIHH setup shop on boats and in the exclusives hotels near the lake. For them, Baselworld is often the main fair to introduce their new models, but that didn’t stop them to bring a few novelties to Geneva as well!

Hublot never sits still, and while Baselworld is the usual epicenter of the brand to introduce new watches, they don't let that limit their sense of innovation. Also this week in Geneva Hublot introduced some watches that pay once again tribute to the "Art of Fusion", expanding existing collections in extraordinary ways!
