To commemorate the enduring legacy of oceanic exploration, the new Omega Seamasters feature bold dials that evoke the allure of boundless seas on a quintessential summer day. The seven models, comprising a total of eleven watches, span a range from dressy timepieces to serious dive tech. Each watch in the collection showcases Omega’s exclusive Summer Blue hue, strategically employed to reflect the water resistance of every Seamaster model and emphasize its remarkable depth-defying capabilities.

The tale of the Seamaster begins 16 years prior to its birth, with the introduction of the Omega “Marine” in 1932—the world’s first divers’ watch available to civilian divers. This groundbreaking timepiece successfully underwent rigorous testing, proving its water resistance at a depth of 135 meters in the Laboratory of Watchmaking Research in Neuchatel. Thus, Omega’s profound advancements in underwater design were established from the start.

During World War II, Omega supplied over 110,000 watches to the British Ministry of Defence, equipping pilots, navigators, and soldiers. This invaluable experience propelled Omega to excel in water resistance, anti-magnetism, and durability, resulting in a series of watches capable of withstanding the harshest conditions. The timepieces were famously engraved with “W.W.W” on the caseback, denoting “Waterproof Wrist Watch.” And in 1948, coinciding with Omega’s 100th anniversary, the Seamaster collection was launched, fusing battle-tested technology with an elegant exterior suitable for any occasion. However, it was during the rock ‘n’ roll era that the Seamaster truly found its calling as the watch of choice for undersea adventurers. The Seamaster 300, introduced in 1957, marked the starting point for this new trajectory.

The Seamaster collection has since witnessed a succession of extraordinary models, each introducing innovative designs, cutting-edge technology, and enhanced water resistance. Throughout its evolution, the Seamaster has become synonymous with ocean exploration and conservation, serving as the preferred timepiece for the inquisitive and environmentally conscious alike.

First launched in 1957 as part of Omega’s “professional” trilogy, the Seamaster 300 established itself as a watch that combined readability with outstanding water resistance. The latest version of this timepiece boasts OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8912, certified at the highest level by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). With its symmetrical 41 mm case and polished and brushed stainless steel finish, the Seamaster 300 confidently withstands depths of up to 300 meters.
