This weekend Paris was hit by the latest luxury robbery. Masked robbers made off with €500,842 (approximately US$690,060) in goods from a Colette boutique in the heart of the French capital.

According to The Telegraph, two thieves burst into the Colette boutique on rue Saint-Honoré shortly after it opened around 10:00 AM on Saturday morning.

The watches on sale at the store, which features brands such as Zenith, Corum and Bernard Richards, were reportedly the thieves’ main target.

Police sources said no one was hurt during the break-in, which saw the thieves escape on a scooter with a false license plate.
