Hublot Opens Aspen Boutique, Debuts Spirit Of Big Bang Special Edition Rockies With Bode Miller

Hublot cut the ribbon of its first U.S. mountain-resort boutique in Aspen, Colorado. The Swiss luxury watchmaker celebrated the grand opening by launching the Spirit of Big Bang Special Edition Rockies collection with a cocktail reception and dinner with Olympic Gold Medalist, and world champion, Bode Miller.

With the unequaled landscape of Aspen as the setting, VIP guests and members of the media witnessed as Jean-Francois Sberro, President of Hublot North America, officially opened the doors of the boutique that features the latest models from the famed brand. In a visual performance for the unveiling of the Spirit of Big Bang Rockies (of which there are only 25 pieces), the hazy white glass of the location’s main vitrines faded away to present the world to the new timepiece. The Spirit of Big Bang Rockies keeps true to the brand’s Art of Fusion philosophy with a new take (see below for details on the new watch).

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony and cocktail reception, the celebrations continued with a dinner at the legendary, members-only Caribou Club.

The Aspen boutique, located in the middle of West End, will be open through the winter season, featuring an evening-hours bar and lounge.

The boutique enhances the legendary brand’s title as the Official Timekeeper of one of the top ski destinations in North America, Aspen Snowmass. Much like the Swiss heritage of snow and ski, the brand has globe-trotting relationships with resorts like Courchevel 1850 in the French Alps and Zermatt, where it has opened chalet-styled boutiques, released other special editions, and signed partnerships with renowned actors and venues in both.
