The Short Answer

Lange & Sohne. This impressive chronograph is a reinterpretation of one of the brands most iconic designs.

Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is the Datograph Up/Down by A. Lange & Sohne. This impressive chronograph is a reinterpretation of one of the brands most iconic designs.

The Datograph platinum case measures 41mm and features a sapphire case back exposing the impressive Manufacture Calibre L951.6 movement. The Flyback mechanism adds to the usefulness of the chronograph features offered.

The Datograph Up/Down is equipped with a 60 hour power reserve, clearly displayed on the dial along with another aperture for the date display. The watch sub-dials are blued steel which contrast wonderfully against the black dial shown here. Designed with luminous hour and minute hands, tachometer scale and baton markers at the hours, A. Lange & Sohne brings the design of this timepiece to life.
