This week Haute Time selected one of Blancpain’s newest Ladies timepieces as The Haute Time Watch of the Week, The Women Off-Centered Hour.

Blancpain has catered to a woman’s love of self-winding timepieces since the 1930’s and also created one of the first self-winding wristwatches for women. Today the Manufacture continues its quest to combine beautiful timepieces with impressive complications.
The Women Off-Centered Hour features a 36.8mm red-gold case set with two rows of 108 various sized diamonds totalling one carat . The crown is also decorated with a diamond to complete the elegant look. The mother-of-pearl dial is decorated with faceted diamonds and features an off-centered hour and minutes dial at 12 o’clock, with drop-shaped, cut-out hands. At 6 o’clock on the dial, we see the 30-second retrograde indication and the Blancpain signature just below. The diamonds on the dial create a perfect balance of style, luxury and elegance.
At the heart of The Women Off-Centered Hour, a Blancpain Calibre 2663SR mechanical, self-winding movement powers the timepiece with 28,800 vibrations per hour. The sapphire crystal case-back displays the Cotes de Geneve finish on the movement, along with an oscillating weight created in the likeness of a five-petal flower.
The Blancpain Women Off-Centered Hour is fitted with an elegant white ostrich leather strap with matching red-gold buckle. The Women Off-Centered Hour is also available in a white gold model with a blue mother-of pearl dial or in steel with a white dial with additional strap selections suiting every woman’s style.
