Panerai created two unique versions of the Luminor Marina and the Radiomir 10 Days GMT...

Today we’re taking a close up look at two timepieces Officine Panerai created exclusively for India. The manufacture, which has a boutique in Mumbai, unveiled unique versions of the Luminor Marina and the Radiomir 10 Days GMT.

Panerai Mumbai Luminor Marina 44mm

The Mumbai Luminor Marina features a 44mm polished steel case and bezel. At its heart is the C.O.S.C.-certified hand-wound mechanical Panerai OP II movement, which boasts 16½ lignes, 17 jewels, Glucydur® balance, 21,600 alternations/hour, Incabloc® anti-shock device and a 56-hour power reserve 56 hours. The black dial features luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers, as well as a small seconds function at 9 o’ clock. The caseback features an engraving of Mumbai’s famous Gateway of India.

Panerai Mumbai Radiomir 10 Days GMT 47mm

The Mumbai Radiomir 10 Days GMT features a 47mm polished steel case with patented removable wire loop strap attachments and a screw-down winding crown. At its heart is the automatic mechanical calibre Panerai P.2003. Executed entirely by Panerai, this 296-component movement boasts 13¾ lignes, 8 mm thick, 25 jewels, Glucydur® balance, 28,800 alternations/hour, KIF Parechoc® anti-shock device, 10 day power reserve and three barrels. The black dial features hours, minutes, date at 3 o’clock, small seconds at 9 o’clock, and a linear power reserve indicator at 6 o’ clock. Again, the back features an engraving of the Gateway of India.
