The 45-millimeter dial resembles the Maserati autos, displayed in a case made of polished steel. The markings on the outer rim represent a speedometer, or more figuratively, speed, while the dial displays a number of blue and white sub-dials positioned in a complicated pattern and styled in the likeness of the front grill of a Maserati.
The mini-dials display date, 10-minute intervals, 30-minute intervals, seconds and hours in the forms of several different counters. The function and coordination of the dials are maintained by an automated mechanical movement.
