Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is The Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Automatic by Montblanc.
This automatic chronograph is Montblanc’s tribute to the inventor of the first patented chronograph, Nicolas Rieussec. Powered by a Montblanc MB R200 movement with approximately a 72 hour power reserve, this automatic chronograph combines an innovative design with a tribute to a classic movement.
The 43mm case is stainless steel and features a domed sapphire crystal and case back. The blued steel feuille hands mark the hours and minutes on an athracite dial with black numerals on an appliqué hour circle. Functions of the automatic chronograph include 30 minute and 60 second counters with rotating discs, a second time zone with day and night display and a date by disc display as well.
The Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Automatic by Montblanc is fitted with a black alligator skin strap with a double folding clasp.
