The Short Answer

Created exclusively for North and South America, these limited edition versions of the RM 055 feature colorful details...

RM055 BLACK RED Front

Luxury watchmaker Richard Mille has unveiled two new limited edition creations exclusively for the Americas. The “Red Drive” and “White Drive” are the latest editions of the RM 055, the watch Richard Mille created for PGA golfer Bubba Watson.

While the previous watches Richard Mille created for Bubba Watson (including the RM 038 Tourbillon Bubba Watson, the RM 038 Tourbillon Victory Watch, and the RM 055 Bubba Watson) featured stark white cases, bezels and straps, these limited editions feature all-black cases and straps with bright details.

RM055 BLACK WHITE Front

Both timepieces feature a 49.9mm x 42.7mm x 13.05mm black rubberized grade-5 titanium case, a black DLC titanium and rubber crown, and a black ceramic bezel. On each edition, the flange frames the skeletonized manual-wound movement – a red flange on the “Red Drive” and a white flange on the “White Drive”. The movement itself, the manual winding skeletonized PVD and Titalyt-treated caliber RMUL2, is also black. A black rubber strap completes the look.

Only 30 pieces of each edition will be produced. The “Red Drive” and “White Drive” will be available at authorized Richard Mille retailers in North and South America, as well as the Richard Mille boutiques in Beverly Hills and Las Vegas.
