Introducing the Vacheron Constantin Égérie Moon Phase Spring Blossom and Historiques American 1921
As the Overseas, Patrimony, Traditionnelle, and Métiers d’Art lines continue to dominate collector attention, Vacheron Constantin has little to prove on the commercial front.
Instead, at Watches and Wonders 2026, the manufacture spotlighted the more nuanced Égérie and the deeply rooted Historiques collections.

Égérie Moon Phase Spring Blossom
Limited to 100 pieces and set with 94 diamonds, the Égérie Moon Phase Spring Blossom pairs a pink mother-of-pearl dial with a miniature hand-painted calfskin strap.

Housed in a 37mm pink gold case, the dial features a diamond-set moonphase display, where an 18k gold moon rises against mother-of-pearl clouds edged in gold. The numerals and hands are likewise crafted in 18k pink gold, reinforcing the watch’s cohesive warmth.

Powering the watch is the self-winding Calibre 1088L, offering a 40-hour power reserve and previously seen in earlier Égérie Moon Phase models. In keeping with the collection’s design codes, the crown, set with a moonstone, is positioned off-centre between 1 and 3 o’clock.

Launched in 2020, the Égérie collection draws inspiration from 19th-century decorative pocket watches, with strong Art Nouveau influences that once shaped Parisian design and architecture. Haute couture is another defining reference, expressed here through the hand-painted strap and pink gold pin buckle. The watch is delivered with interchangeable straps in shiny pink alligator and blush-pink grosgrain, alongside a specially designed pouch.

“By choosing to employ the craft of miniature hand-painting, and applying it in a way not previously done–to the strap, rather than the dial or case, (the Égérie Moon Phase Spring Blossom) reflects the Maison’s belief that the future of such crafts lies not only in using them, but also ensuring their continuity and relevance by innovating, experimenting and evolving them in new directions,” remarked Sandrine Donguy, Product & Innovation Director of Vacheron Constantin.

Historiques American 1921
Distinguished by its cushion-shaped case and a dial that has been rotated 45 degrees clockwise to facilitate discreet reading of the time, the Historiques American 1921 has returned with a grained silver dial, with blue accents and calfskin strap. This 18k 5N pink gold novelty is offered in 36.5mm and 40mm case sizes.

Inside the 30m water-resistant case beats the manually wound Calibre 4400 AS, operated via the crown positioned at the top right corner. Measuring just 2.8mm thick, the movement enables the watch’s slim 7.41mm profile.

The design traces its origins to 1919, when Vacheron Constantin introduced an unconventional driver’s watch with an offset dial and small seconds counter. Refinements made in 1921 would go on to define the off-kilter icon we recognize today.

“The Historiques American 1921, which has been reinterpreted a few times through new materials and diameters since it was originally issued in 2008, exemplifies how every version is an opportunity for our watchmakers to challenge themselves to improve and evolve while remaining strictly within the spirit of the original, historic model,” explains Vacheron Constantin’s Style & Heritage Director Christian Selmoni.
