The world’s largest watchmaker, Swatch said it expects growth to continue this year after a good start in January. The company, whose products range from high-end automatic watches like Breguet and Blancpain to the widely recognized plastic watches, is gaining from demand mainly among Asian consumers – along with a few other select Swiss watch makers.

Looking forward, Swatch said it’s well prepared for the future and has stated they will continue to make targeted investments in 2012 in their worldwide distribution network and in their production capacities in Switzerland, despite the strong Swiss franc.
