The Haute Minute
The Nautilus 5980/60G comes originally fitted with a hand-stitched, new denim-patterned calfskin strap in blue-gray.
The new Patek Philippe 5980/60G Nautilus that made its debut earlier this year in Geneva is one of those watch releases where at first, everyone is rather unsure of what to think about this new denim-like fabrication Patek is introducing, and now, it’s grown on everyone and once again, another Patek hot commodity. And candidly, I am still patiently waiting for the first time I see this highly-coveted timepiece out in the wild.
This Nautilus self-winding flyback chronograph, the 5980/60G, is crafted in white gold, featuring an opaline blue-gray dial. Complementing this refined dial is a blue-gray denim-patterned calfskin strap, secured with a white gold Nautilus fold-over clasp. For added versatility, the watch also comes with an additional blue-gray composite material strap with the aforementioned denim fabric pattern.
