Calling Our Favorites: Hublot
Few brands have such an extensive collection as Hublot, yet also few brands have so many highlights in its collection as well. Its passion for innovation has not only revolutionized the industry but also resulted in watches that combine visual beauty with mechanical excellence, and lots of it. To pick favourites from such an extensive array of masterpieces is a daunting task by itself, but when we utilize the freedom that the term 'favourite' provides us with, the following are our high rankers!

Red Hot Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Pirelli Double Tourbillon To Mark 2018 Run To Monaco
Roger Dubuis, Pirelli, Lamborghini: three iconic names in their respected fields that come together in a unique event. In the 'Run to Monaco', they are taking some of the world's most exclusive and exotic cars in an epic road trip through the south of France to the principality of Monaco. Last year Haute Time participated in this high-octane, high-speed event, driving a Lamborghini Aventador, of course, fitted with Pirelli tires.
I’m Spinning Around! Top 5 Tourbillon Watches
The tourbillon is still the undeniable king of the complications. It is often the one that envokes the most feverish reactions from watch collectors and connoisseurs alike. Part of its magic is its undeniable ability to captivate through its mesmerizing motion and the technical complexity to achieve this. These are some of the most recent watches with a tourbillon that were able to capture, and hold our attention!
Haute Complication: Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Power Reserve 5 Days Sapphire
Pushing the envelope is one of Hublot's mantras and their sapphire watches are perhaps the best illustration as to what that can lead to. In a relatively short period of time, Hublot has not only mastered the art of creating sapphire cased watches, but they have also taken them to the next level.
Haute Complication: TAG Heuer Carrera “Tete de Vipere” Chronograph Tourbillon Chronometer
Few watches unite the past with the future the way the TAG Heuer Carrera "Tête de Vipère" Chronograph Tourbillon Chronometer does. Behind this long name is a watch that does not dwell on the past, but embraces what is good and takes it into the future. It is created to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Heuer Carrera and will be released as a limited edition of 155 pieces.
Haute Complication: Greubel Forsey Quadruple Tourbillon Black
Those who think that it is the complications that make a Quadruple Tourbillon such an exquisite timepiece have never been up close and personal with this Greubel Forsey. While they are utterly impressive, it is the finish of each component in the watch that truly sets it apart from anything else. This is also one of the reasons why I enjoyed the Quadruple Tourbillon Black, which was introduced during Baselworld, so much.
Haute Time’s Favorite Baselworld Watches: Part II
After Part I of Haute Time's Favorite Baselworld Watches, there are still a few new watches that we would like to highlight, as they made strong entries to our wishlists, and perhaps those of yours as well.
Haute Complication: Graff GyroGraff Drive
Graff puts its passion for cars into a higher gear and uses it as inspiration for a very special of the GyroGraff. Named appropriately GyroGraff Drive the watches in this collection feature a micro painting on the dial, that will satisfy your need for speed.
Haute Time’s Favorite Baselworld Watches: Part I
Baselworld 2018 was a blast, with strong new additions to the collections across all brands. While this is great news for the industry, and watch collectors and connoisseurs, it does make it quite difficult for us to pick out our favourites, but here it goes!
Haute Time’s Five Favorite Independent Watches From Baselworld 2018
Baselworld 2018 brought a lot of new watches, from the large, well-known brands, but also many independent brands introduced extraordinary new models. These are five of Haute Time's favourites!
Hot New Hublots at Baselworld
Baselworld has started, and one brand that was bound to make a buzz is Hublot. Not only did they declare their love for football, by introducing the Big Bang Referee 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ smart watch for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Russia, but also did they put together two amazing all-star teams coached by Diego Maradona and José Mourinho to compete in a friendly match during an exclusive event
Live From Basel: Breguet Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Automatique 5367 Grand Feu Enamel
A Breguet fitted with a tourbillon is always holding a special position in the world of watches. This is not only thanks to the fact that it was Abraham-Louis Breguet, the brand's founder, who invented this complication, which he patented in 1801 but also because the brand never stopped innovating. Perhaps the best example of this is the Breguet Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Automatique.
The Blue Dials Of SIHH 2018
Last year after Baselworld I wrote an article about the many beautiful blue dials that caught my eye. This trend continues to live on, as also at this years SIHH, there where blue dials galore, including some very special one!
Haute Complication: IWC Portugieser Constant-Force Tourbillon Edition “150 Years”
With so much attention going to the breathtaking IWC “Tribute to Pallweber,” some other watches of the Jubilee collection did not get the attention that they would normally warrant. Such was for sure the case of the most complicated, and technically imposing watch of IWC’s anniversary collection, the Portugieser Constant-Force Tourbillon Edition "150 Years".
Five Horological Novelties In Geneva
While the SIHH takes place in the Palexpo halls of Geneva, this is not the only place in the city where you can find the latest and greatest watches. In the downtown area, brands that are not officially part of the SIHH setup shop on boats and in the exclusives hotels near the lake. For them, Baselworld is often the main fair to introduce their new models, but that didn’t stop them to bring a few novelties to Geneva as well!
Audemars Piguet Celebrates The 25th Anniversary Of The Royal Oak Offshore
While the birth of the Royal Oak was already a breakthrough in 1972, the introduction of the Royal Oak Offshore was nothing less when it hit the market in 1993. A revolution, because the trend for oversized wrist watches was still in its infancy and the Royal Oak Offshore, yet one that was determined rather quickly in favor of this new Audemars Piguet, as it was big, bold, and yes, beautiful!
