Ten years is an eternity in Formula 1. Cars are reinvented, regulations rewritten and driver lineups reshuffled, and partnerships that looked permanent quietly disappear from the sidepods. So when a watchmaker and a team reach their tenth season together, it is worth a celebration, and TAG Heuer has chosen to throw it on the wrist.
The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph x Oracle Red Bull Racing (Ref. WBY111F.BA0042) celebrates ten years of partnership. It pairs a 38mm sandblasted steel case with a blue dial, red flange and the solar-powered Caliber TH50-00, with up to ten months of autonomy on a full charge.
Announced today, October 12, 2026, from La Chaux-de-Fonds, the new TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph x Oracle Red Bull Racing marks a decade since the Swiss brand and Oracle Red Bull Racing joined forces in 2016. Rather than reach for a heavyweight chronograph, TAG Heuer has gone the other way: a 38mm, light-powered sports watch in the team’s blue and red, built for a younger generation of fans who, as the brand sees it, treat racing as culture as much as sport.

The choice of collection is deliberate. TAG Heuer Formula 1 was born in the 1980s as an accessible, colorful entry into Swiss watchmaking with a direct line to motorsport, and the release frames this anniversary as a continuation of that idea. Over the past ten years, the partnership has produced a string of watches that tracked the team’s evolution “from breakthrough victories to championship dominance,” as the brand puts it, and this one is meant to capture the moment rather than look back on it.
TAG Heuer CEO Béatrice Goasglas explains the thinking in plain terms. “Ten years ago, TAG Heuer and Oracle Red Bull Racing came together around a simple conviction: every fraction of a second matters. Since then, we have shared podiums, titles and the same relentless drive to win. This special edition celebrates that journey while looking firmly ahead. With its 38 mm case and Solargraph movement, it brings the energy of the grid to a new generation of watch enthusiasts, for whom racing is as much a culture as a sport. It is everything Designed to Win stands for.” It is a fair summary of where TAG Heuer has been steering the Formula 1 line all year.

Ten Years on the Dial
The dial does most of the talking. A deep blue sunray-brushed surface picks up Oracle Red Bull Racing’s signature color, and a vivid red flange carrying the 60-second scale cuts around its edge. Applied indexes lacquered in black and filled with white Super-LumiNova, which glows green at night, keep the watch legible, while the collection’s signature shields sit at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock. The original Formula 1 hour hand returns alongside matching minute and seconds hands, a yellow central seconds hand adds a jolt of color, and the TAG Heuer logo is printed in green, red and white. A date window at 3 o’clock, framed in yellow, completes the layout.
In our view, this is the right amount of team livery. The palette is unmistakably Red Bull, yet nothing on the dial reads like merchandise; the branding is saved for the back. That restraint is what separates a good partnership watch from a souvenir.

The case is sandblasted steel with a matte finish that leans into the technical mood, and its shape draws on the original Formula 1 models of the 1980s. Around it turns a blue TH-Polylight bidirectional bezel with a 60-minute scale, a material TAG Heuer says adds depth without sacrificing durability. A flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment sits on top, the steel crown is at 3 o’clock, and water resistance is 100 meters. The case is matched to a sandblasted steel three-row bracelet with a folding clasp, double safety push-buttons and an adjustment link extension, a more articulated build that the brand says makes it easy to wear every day.

Turn the watch over and the partnership comes into full view. The steel screw-down caseback carries the Oracle Red Bull Racing logo alongside TAG Heuer’s, set over a checkered flag pattern. It even arrives in its own way: a special box finished in the team’s colors and logo.

Laurent Mekies, CEO and Team Principal of Oracle Red Bull Racing, frames the watch as a shared statement. “Over the past decade, TAG Heuer has been a valued partner of Oracle Red Bull Racing, sharing our commitment to precision, innovation and performance at the highest level. This new Formula 1 Solargraph x Oracle Red Bull Racing watch celebrates our ten years of a successful partnership, combining the energy and ambition of our Team with TAG Heuer’s pioneering approach to watchmaking. It’s a piece that reflects the speed, accuracy and relentless pursuit of excellence that connect both our brands,” he shares. For a team principal, it is a strikingly watch-literate endorsement.
Powered by Light
Inside is the Caliber TH50-00, TAG Heuer’s Solargraph movement, which draws energy from both natural and artificial light. The figures are what make it so easy to live with. According to the brand, one minute of direct sunlight powers the watch for a full day, a full charge takes under 40 hours of light exposure and delivers up to ten months of autonomy in total darkness, and if it does stop, ten seconds of light restarts it. TAG Heuer rates the accumulator’s lifespan at up to fifteen years.

That practicality fits the brief. The Solargraph has become the backbone of the modern Formula 1 collection, from the pastel palette introduced in the spring to the pair of Dutch Grand Prix Solargraphs this summer, and the 38mm size makes this edition one of the more wearable racing watches on the grid. It also slots neatly into a busy year for the brand, which you can follow in our running list of every TAG Heuer release of 2026, including the Monza Flyback Chronograph that marked 50 years of racing heritage.
The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph x Oracle Red Bull Racing, Ref. WBY111F.BA0042, is available from October 2026 at an estimated retail price of $2,250. For a decade of shared podiums, it is a modest ticket, and that is the point. TAG Heuer could have celebrated ten years with something rare and unattainable; instead, it built a watch that a fan in the grandstand can actually buy.
