Based on the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Nanograph, the new 45-mm watch features its signature monochromatic black case made with an ultra-lightweight and resistant fine brushed black PVD grade 5 titanium with a fixed carbon tachymeter bezel fitted with the matte black alligator strap finished with a sandblasted grade 2 titanium folding clasp with double safety buttons and the TAG Heuer shield. Adhering to the monochromatic black coloring, the case also features a black PVD grade 5 titanium crown and push buttons and a black PVD grade 5 titanium screwed sapphire case back with special engraving marking the limited release’s number within the 150 pieces.

At first glance, the colors within the dial catch one’s attention, but upon further inspection, the dial is quite dynamic. In contrast to the rich black exterior, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Polychrome introduces a resolutely novel rainbow-colored skeletonized dial. TAG Herer actually worked alongside an expert partner who is specialized in vacuum deposition PVD treatments and is the only supplier in the world to offer this breakthrough finish, Positive Coating, to achieve the vibrant gradient coloring of the dial. A design feat and patented technology, metallic oxides are deposited in infinitely thin transparent layers, and their controlled and minute thickness variations create the final gradual color spectrum.

Sporting the iconic TAG Heuer Carrera tricompax layout, it highlights a black flange with 60 second/minute scale, rhodium-plated blue chronograph sub-counters at 3 and 9 o’clock with black-gold-plated polished hands, and the multicolored tourbillon at 6 o’clock. The applied indexes and hands are rhodium-plated, with Super-LumiNova® on the hour and minute hands.

Housed inside this masterpiece is the in-house movement, the Caliber Heuer 02T COSC chronograph tourbillon, achieving the highest standards of precision and performance, offering a power reserve of 80 hours. A true testament to TAG Heuer’s unwavering commitment to innovation, the TAG Heuer Chronograph Tourbillon Polychrome is the modern addition we never knew we needed.
