The third and final watch auction presented by Phillips this year, The Hong Kong Watch Auction: One realised USD $15,189,578 after last night’s final swing of the gavel. Comprised of some of the world’s rarest timepieces, the auction saw a Patek Philippe Reference 3450 smash the record amount paid at auction in Asia for a single timepiece. Luckily, we go our hands-on the record-breaking wristwatch before it was collected by its new owner, as well as other high-scoring lots. Let’s see how our highlights fared on the day:
