For the first time in history, Patek Philippe has created the first ever titanium version of the legendary Reference 5270 chronograph and perpetual calendar — and it’s meant for a greater cause. In fact, this one-of-a-kind timepiece was created especially for the Children Action charity auction taking place in Geneva in November.

The new take on the classic perpetual calendar chronograph, Ref 5270, is distinguished by its sporty emerald green sunburst dial complemented by a black alligator leather strap with contrasting matching green stitching and the rare titanium case. The case is a timeless design that features a concave bezel, two-tier lugs along with satin-brushed and polished pushers. On the reverse side, the in-house movement, Calibre CH 29-535 PS, is seen through the transparent sapphire crystal case, revealing the special inscription “Children Action 2022.”

While Patek Philippe’s new timepiece is undoubtedly making history as the first titanium Ref. 5270, we’re speculating it may make a greater impact come the auction on November 7th.
