OMEGA Launches Seamaster Diver 300M “Paris 2024” Special Edition One Year Out From The Olympic Games

With exactly one year until the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, the world is gearing up for the historic sporting event. As the Official Timekeeper for the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, OMEGA is celebrating the countdown with a striking new timepiece – the Seamaster Diver 300M “Paris 2024” Special Edition, a tribute to the momentous occasion.

OMEGA’s partnership with the Olympics dates back to 1932, and the Seamaster Diver 300M “Paris 2024” Special Edition marks the company’s 31st time as Official Timekeeper. Crafted as an exclusive homage to the Games, this limited-edition timepiece will be available only at OMEGA Boutiques in the host city, Paris.

The 42 mm timepiece is a blend of stainless steel and OMEGA’s signature 18K Moonshine™ Gold – a yellow gold alloy known for its subtle hue and high resistance to fading. The use of gold on the watch’s bezel pays homage to the coveted medals that athletes strive to achieve. The bezel features a laser-structured diving scale in positive relief, accentuated by a single dot of Super-LumiNova at 12 o’clock for enhanced visibility.

The dial of the Seamaster Diver 300M “Paris 2024” Special Edition is laser-engraved in white ceramic with a matte finish and polished waves in positive relief. The date display at 6 o’clock cleverly incorporates the Paris 2024 typography in black, while the central seconds hand proudly carries the Paris 2024 emblem.

The commemorative caseback is adorned with an inlayed 18K Moonshine™ Gold medallion showcasing the distinctive element of the Paris 2024 emblem against a laser-ablated background. Stamped words “Paris 2024” and the iconic Olympic Rings in stainless steel, polished on a frosted structure, complete the emblematic design.

The watch is comfortably worn on a stainless steel bracelet with OMEGA’s patented Quick Change System, allowing wearers to effortlessly switch to a Quick Change rubber strap in blue, white, or red, or even a dedicated Paris 2024 NATO Strap for a more personal touch.

As expected from OMEGA, the Seamaster Diver 300M “Paris 2024” Special Edition is equipped with the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8800 movement, thoroughly tested and certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) to ensure the highest standards of precision and performance.
