As the fashion world turned its attention to Paris for another week of premiering fads, Swiss horologer Omega opened its “Her Time” exhibition in the city’s historic Hotel de Sully.

The display joins the brand’s past and its future. It features some of Omega’s most exquisite women’s timepieces, which, for over a century, have embodied the watchmaker’s evolving sensitivities. It also presented Omega’s new-guard of ambassadors, Kaia and Presley Gerber, whose mother, Cindy Crawford, has, herself, been among the label’s closest friends for over two decades.

“OMEGA’s women’s watches reveal some of the most beautiful designs in our history,” said Omega’s President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann during the opening ceremony. “There is so much variety and artistry, and I’m so proud to bring this exhibition to Paris, which is one of the world’s homes of fashion. Of course, to also be here with Cindy and her family is a special privilege and thrill.”

Crawford joined Aeschlimann to introduce her children. “My journey with OMEGA has been incredible and I know that Kaia and Presley will enjoy working with the brand as much as I have,” the supermodel and actress said. “They are both talented in their own unique ways and I’m so proud that they will be the next ambassadors for these fantastic watches.”

To welcome the young Gerbers to its family, Omega presented the very first official portrait of Crawford, husband Rande Gerber and Kaia and Presley. Elegant and intimate, the back-and-white image is the work of renowned photographer Peter Lindbergh.

The evening continued with an exclusive performance by German DJ Robin Schulz and singer Richard Judge, who entertained guests in the caliber of fashion designer Nathalie Rykiel, actress Emma de Caunes as well as international fashion models Joan Smalls and Martha Hunt.

After having swept Milan, Moscow, Shanghai and Sydney, the “Her Time” exhibition will grace Hotel de Sully until Oct. 15. It is open daily, from 9am to 7pm.
