The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Legacy Lives On
Since its debut in 1993, the Seamaster Diver 300M has held a revered place in OMEGA’s illustrious catalog of aquatic timepieces. Renowned for its precision, performance, and undeniable style, the collection has been a favorite among watch enthusiasts and adventurers alike. This year, OMEGA continues to build on that legacy, unveiling a new series of Seamaster Diver 300M models that bring a fresh perspective to the iconic design.
The first glimpse of this updated collection came earlier this summer when OMEGA ambassador Daniel Craig sported a stainless steel model with a black aluminum bezel and dial at the Olympic Games Paris 2024. Craig’s appearance ignited global excitement, with fans eagerly anticipating the official release of these striking timepieces.
The new Diver 300M series pays homage to the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, famously featured in No Time To Die. Moving away from the ceramic styles of recent years, these latest 42 mm models embrace a vintage aesthetic defined by domed sapphire crystals and robust metallic construction. The addition of mesh bracelets, reminiscent of the Bond watch, adds a rugged yet sophisticated touch to these adventurous designs.
The collection introduces four distinct variations, catering to diverse preferences — a Stainless Steel with Black Aluminum, which features a black aluminum bezel and laser-engraved wave-pattern dial, and the Stainless Steel with Titanium Bezel, pairing a grade 5 titanium bezel with a brushed PVD stainless steel dial, this version delivers a bold, modern edge.
Each watch is available on either a refined mesh bracelet or a versatile rubber strap, offering flexibility for any occasion. True to OMEGA’s commitment to excellence, the timepieces are powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, ensuring superior precision, performance, and magnetic resistance. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, offering a glimpse into OMEGA’s horological mastery.
The Seamaster Diver 300M’s legacy traces back to 1993, marking OMEGA’s triumphant return to diving watches and drawing on its rich heritage from the 1960s and 70s. Signature elements such as the wave-pattern dial, skeletonized hands, and helium escape valve at 10 o’clock have become hallmarks of this underwater classic. The new Seamaster Diver 300M models celebrate the collection’s storied past and push its adventurous spirit into bold new territory.
