Haute News: Gucci Adds Four New Bio-Based Timepieces To Its Dive Collection

From high watchmaking brands unveiling new, dive-approved materials and breaking technical boundaries, the diver’s watch has been at the forefront this year. And Gucci is the latest to enter the conversation as they have just released four new timepieces in the Gucci Dive Collection.

Designed in a fresh, new color palette of pale hues, the new Gucci Dive timepieces go beyond aesthetics; they are made with bio-based materials like plant-derived plastic and recycled steel, further adhering to the House’s ongoing commitment to reducing its environmental footprint and conscious designing.

The four new timepieces catapult the Gucci Dive Collection into the modern era through the forward-thinking design as well as the technical components. These diver watches are water resistant up to 200 meters and feature illuminated, legible dials and markers to ensure easy readability in the darkest depths. The timepieces are a bold 40mm, complimented with an innovative rubber-like material for the straps, and are available in sea-inspired colors, including aquamarine, natural moss green, matt white, and transparent.

Last but certainly not least, the Swiss-made automatic movement can be seen through the transparent caseback and dial. There’s no denying that these new additions embody an elevated sports style, reflecting both Gucci’s prestigious high watchmaking and bold design codes.
