Louis Vuitton Presents Tambour Street Diver Chronograph 2023
For over 20 years, the Tambour watch has been at the heart of Louis Vuitton’s watchmaking journey. The now iconic model has explored all paths of creativity.

Louis Vuitton’s latest Tambour iteration is is water resistant to 100 meters and comes with equipped with a chronograph function, a novelty for the Tambourine line.
In 2021, the Tambour returned to a territory already explored in Louis Vuitton’s historical collections by appearing as a casually elegant diver’s watch named Tambour Street Diver. This timepiece, imbued with the Maison’s bold spirit, was awarded the Diver’s Watch Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.
The Tambour Street Diver Chronograph is a natural evolution of the renowned 2021 predecessor. Not only does the chronograph allow you to measure short-time during a competition or while practicing a leisure activity, it also has the visually striking design it has been known for since its creation. The Tambour Street Diver Chronograph forges a powerful link between the sculptural shape of the Tambour case, the bold colors, and the performances of a top-level sports watch.

The addition of the chronograph function ensured by a hand-wound, self-winding mechanism, led Louis Vuitton to adopt a new architecture while keeping the original sleek design and its perfect legibility. The chronograph’s two push buttons are on either side of the crown on the right of the case; the crown of the unidirectional rotating flange showing diving times is between 10 and 11am on the left side.

Featuring a 46 mm diameter, the Tambour Street Diver Chronograph offers an assertive figure on the wrist while also sporting the typical shape of the Tambour case, with a base larger than its dial opening, highlighting the perfect proportions of the watch. It’ s available in shot-blasted steel with blue or black PVD treatment, with a polished steel or matching black bezel, bearing the emblematic twelve letters of Louis Vuitton. With its sporty soul, this watch is first and foremost an instantly recognisable Tambour.
