RADIOMIR 1940 3 DAYS AUTOMATIC ACCIAIO – 42mm 1

Watch trends come and go, but certain designs become eternal. Despite taking aesthetic cues from the 1940’s, the Radimoir 1940 collection from Panerai still feels remarkably modern. The latest piece in the collection — the new Radiomir 1940 3 Days Automatic Accio —  is offered with a white dial and has a graphic design that maximises the dial’s clarity and legibility. The timepiece also features large black figures corresponding to the hour markers and a small seconds dial at nine o’clock, a characteristic of Panerai watches of the 1940s.

While the design and proportions of the new Radimoir 1940 match many vintage Panerai pieces, the standard of its materials, finish and ergonomics have been updated and perfected to meet the current standards of contemporary high quality sports watchmaking. The 42mm cushion case is crafted out of polished AISI 316L stainless steel and is only 10.93 mm thick.

On the caseback, the piece features a round sapphire crystal window through which the automatic P.4000 movement is made visible. The rugged and reliable movement was entirely made in the Officine Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel, The piece is also water resistant up to 100 meters and comes with a natural, untreated leather strap with contrasting stitching.
