Back in September, we introduced Dwayne Wade’s latest collaboration watch with Hublot. The Miami Heat basketball player has been a close friend of Hublot, ever since the Swiss watch brand became the Official Timekeeper of the Miami HEAT in 2011.
At the time, the pair celebrated their partnership with a sporty King Power “D-Wade” in 2011. But for his second watch, the famed basketball star’s has chosen the more sophisticated aesthetic of the Classic Fusion range.
The Classic Fusion Dwyane Wade features a sleek 45mm case made of polished black ceramic. This gives the watch a very smooth shine. The red, black and regal gold embellishments add a touch of color and reflect Dwyane Wade’s Miami Heat. The dial features a Dwyane Wade logo integrated into the counter at 3 o’clock, and the printed Dwyane Wade signature at 6 o’clock.
There’s no doubt about it. This is a sporty watch, made by and for one of the top athletes in the world. However, you don’t have to be sweating in a jersey to pull this one off because it’s just elegant and smart enough for a suit and tie.
