Girard-Perregaux Presents Newest Addition to Laureato Collection – Laureato 42mm Green

Despite the passage time, Girard-Perregaux’s Laureato Collection which began in 1975, has never aged or lost its aesthetic allure. The Laureato 42mm Green harnesses the timeless character and elegance of green. The verdant shade has been on trend in the watch world for the past couple of years. Green is widely associated with nature and is the principal color of many a landscape. Virescent shades are linked with harmony, health, hope and prosperity. Therefore, it’s safe to say that green is less of a fleeting fashion and more of a n enduring classic.

Similarly, the Laureato Collection remains timeless and continues to engage with watch aficionados and devotees of accomplished design. Encased in steel with an integrated bracelet, Laureato stands for versatility, proving suitable for all roles, whether sporty, casual or formal. The new Laureato 42mm Green is presented in a stainless steel case and upholds its collection’s tradition of juxtaposing polished and satin finished surfaces throughout. The model readily slips beneath a shirt cuff thanks to its modest height of 10.68mm.

During the 1970’s, a time in which design was impactful  and extraordinary for so many reasons, the Swiss brand was at the vanguard of quartz timekeeping. In fact, the frequency of 32,786 Hz was set by the Maison and subsequently adopted as the universal standard for quartz watches.

The Laureato 42mm Green will go on sale in November 2022 and will be sold by Wempe for one month. Thereafter, the model will be available in all authorized Girard-Perregaux retailers.
