Jimmy Butler is a man who needs no introduction. The highly successful basketball player made quite a name for himself over the years. He started his professional career with the Chicago Bulls and now plays in the small forward position for Miami Heat. Already in his first year with Miami Heat, he was instrumental in the team reaching the 2020 NBA Finals. As a five-time NBA All-Star, three-time All-NBA Team Honoree, and four-time NBA All-Defensive Team honoree, he knows how to impress on and off the court. For him, a watch is an important part of his personal style, and therefore he has joined forces with TAG Heuer, wearing their watches on and off the court. As Jimmy Butler puts it himself: "I couldn't be more excited to join TAG Heuer as their newest brand ambassador. I strongly believe in the brand's values of high performance, precision and passion for action, and I'm committed to these standards throughout each game and in my everyday life. Above all, everyone knows how much I love watches, and I'm thrilled to be part of a brand with deep history and a trailblazing spirit."

MB&F is a brand that is mainly known for its "Horological Machines" that like to explore and preferably push back the boundaries of watchmaking. Among them, the LM101 holds a special place, as it might be the most common-looking watch in MB&F its collection. The reason for this is the conventional round case, as well as the modest diameter of 40mm. Now MB&F is launching three new editions of the LM101 to continue its success story.

Watch of the Week: Hublot Big Bang Unico Yellow Magic

At Hublot, the colors seem to become ever more vibrant in regard to their ceramic models. With the launch of the Big Bang Unico Yellow Magic, the brand has proven that it can also produce this primary color in the challenging material that ceramic is. As ceramic is made at very high temperatures, most color pigments tend to burn up. That is why for decades, only white and black could be produced. Hublot was the first to introduce more vibrant colors in 2018, thanks to a newly developed process to create ceramics under pressure at lower temperatures.

Four Favorites For Mothers’ Day

The day when we celebrate and pay tribute to the most important woman in our lives, the one that introduced us to the world, is around the corner. While many gifts come to mind, few are as appropriate as a watch, as this is a perfect reminder of all the special times we have shared, and are about to share, with here. Here are four of our personal favorites:

Ulysse Nardin Takes Artistic Approach To Camouflage With New Freak X Razzle Dazzle

The Freak X is a watch that already makes a powerful visual impact. With part of its gear train placed on the dial side, accompanied by a high-tech flying carrousel, is it a true horological delicacy that won't go unnoticed. With the new Freak X Razzle Dazzle makes Ulysse Nardin the watch, even more, an eyecatcher. The pattern is reminiscent of that of zebra's, who use it to conceal themselves and confuse their predators. Especially in World War I, the British Royal Navy painted their ships with a similar pattern, hoping to confuse enemy ships to such extent that it was hard(er) for them to place a hit. It later on also became quite a popular pattern within the art scene.

The Future Of Panerai Is Sustainble

Panerai has made it very clear this edition of Watches & Wonders, where its future lies. With the Submersible eLad-ID they have introduced a watch that sets the new standard for recycled products within the watch industry, as by weight, 98.6 percent of the Submersible eLab-ID was used in a previous product. The brand was also very clear that reusing such a high percentage of materials was not easy to achieve. Panerai achieved this by teaming up with its suppliers, tackling the challenges as a joint effort. To ensure that other watch brands don't have to go through these same hoops and invent the wheel once more, Panerai even disclosed its partners and invited the rest of the industry to approach them and start using (more) recycled products in their own collections. This is an unprecedented step in which Panerai sends a clear signal to the rest of the industry that becoming more sustainable is a joint effort that surpasses the interests of the luxury groups and even that of individual brands.

The Hottest Ladies Watches Of Watches & Wonders 2021

Watches & Wonders was a great success, even though it was with the exception of the event in Shanghai, a virtual event. The watch brands quickly adapted to the new reality and dazzled from abroad through the digital channels. What, fortunately, didn't change was the vast amount of amazing watches that they introduced. For men, but also for ladies, there are plenty of new models to choose from. A current trend for women's watches is that mechanical movements are the new standard, of course, accompanied by a generous dash of elegance.
